WE'RE STILL HERE!
Many of you may have thought that we got lost or ran away or something since we've not made any changes to the page in a while, but we are still here! This fall was the longest harvest season I can remember! For a while there it looked like our customers would be shelling corn in February! The crop had such a late start that everyone was in the fields later than usual this year! Which of course meant that we were right there with them! We know we haven't had any time to keep this page current and up to date! But, we're back now! And we plan on getting everything up to date and current for you as quick as we can! So if you've been ignoring us because we haven't changed anything in so long now, you can come back now!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
We need a location to hold events such as Plow Days and other such shows and events each and every year in the same place! This crap of having to wait until the popcorn is ready to be harvested just isn't going to get it! As it didn't this year because we lost our biggest and most popular event when Plow Days-4 went down the tubes on us! We should have been smart enough last year to figure out that change was needed when we were out there in the temperatures we were forced to endure during Plow Days-3. But the cold must have gelled our brains or something? Because sure enough, here we are a year later and couldn't come up with a location to even hold this years event! Our biggest, most popular event and we screwed it up! I don't know about all of you, but I'm pretty damn proud! This will not happen again! If I'm forced to lock the shop doors on a club meeting all winter until we make solid plans for the upcoming show season, I will! We need a location to hold Plow Days next year! And we need that location for about the next 20 years too! After that I don't care! Someone else can worry about it then! The Greens Fork location is truely a great location! It has everything we need! It has several flat acres of land for plowing. It also has electrical hookups. And it has a great place for vendors to set up tents and exhibits. Which if I have anything to do with it, we will need space for vendors tents in the future! Because there's going to be a lot more than just plowing if I have any say in it! I see Plow Days turning into a entire weekend event! With a whole lot more than just plowing! Things such as a vendors city so to speak. Just like the tent city at the Farm Progress Show. Invite several after market truck & tractor parts dealers to set up exhibits at the event. Also invite local merchants who deal in ag related merchandise or whatever for that matter, to show the products or services they offer at the event. Maybe some day in the near future the event will be big enough to attract dealers and manufacturers such as Jensales, K&K tractor parts, Pilot Knob Restorations, O.E.M Tractor Parts, Steiner And other such tractor parts dealers? There is no bounds! Only we limit what we could make this! And the way we handled it this year its never going anywhere if we don't get up off of our duffs and make it happen! Just imagine this: The event has a good location like The Dutch Country Flea Market where Plow Days was held last year. This is a entire weekend event. We have a nice area (as they do there) to have up to 50 tents set up with after market antique tractor parts dealers set up. (Are you visioning this) In another area there is a truck & tractor show going on. And still in another area there is a car show happening. And in yet another area near the vendors tents there's a huge swap meet with all sorts of new and used truck and tractor parts! And over near the buildings there is a kiddie pedel tractor pull. And on over is a real antique tractor pull! Around the corner there is the Lions Club, a church group and a local restaurant serving anything you can imagine to eat! Beyond that are several small tents housing all kinds of people holding a crafts fair! And wait, there's even a stage with a musical group and the local radio station doing a live broadcast of the events at our show! On & on & on! There are no boundries except ourselves! People, we could turn our little Plow Days into a huge weekend event for the entire family! All we have to do is get up off of our duffs and secure a location and make it happen! The very first thing we must do is secure that location! And The Dutch Country Flea Market location where we held the event last year would be perfect! It has a great area for vendors tents. Good flat ground to plow. Several buildings for things like kiddie pulls, meals to be served, swap meets, on and on! And its on a busy state road too! The location is perfect! I don't know what it would take to rent the farm and grounds for our event, but I suggest that our club try very hard to do it! Or start looking for another such location now! This could become a huge event with our club at the wheel of the entire thing! Lets get it in gear and make something happen people!!!
PLOW DAYS
We simply can not stress how important it is to our club to find a location to hold Plow Days! It would be great to find a permanent location for the event, and to turn it into a entire weekend full of activities just like I mentioned above! Am I the only person that thinks that sounds like a good idea or what??? But anyway, for right now we would be happy with a place to hold it just this year! This is a wonderful event where all our members have a great time! So we really need to find a location for it! Again, if you have any suggestions on where to hold the event, please give us a call at: 765-886-5920, or send your e-mail to us at: TotalAg@aol.com.
RESTORATIONS
Since we are back in the shop working on restoring trucks and tractors again, you may want to start checking for a Featured Restorations segment in this site with photo's of the proccess, as well as text telling you all about it from start to finish! And if you have one you are restoring let us know about it so we can get it on our site as well. We'd love to follow your progress on the restoration and keep a record of it right here in our site for all to see! So give us a call and let us show your next project to our visitors. We'll take the pictures. You do the job!
THANKS TO ALL WHO HELPED
We would like to thank everyone who attended all of the shows and events that our club held in 2006. Without members like you that actually get out and go to these events, our club wouldn't be much! We need more members like you! And with any luck we'll pick a few up this winter! If you think you might know of someone who may be interested in being a member of our club, grab on to them and bring them to one of our meetings!
